Chance Landscape Architecture is located in San Rafael in bucolic Marin County, CA. The company’s name come’s from it’s founder Andrew Chance. Andrew is a licensed landscape architect and licensed landscape contractor. He is a native Californian who has made landscape design his calling for the past 15 years. Chance Landscape Architecture is both a landscape architecture (design) and landscape construction firm providing custom landscaping services to homeowners, businesses and municipalities for the cities of Marin and Sonoma Counties and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our Mission is to provide landscape design that complements the building architecture as well as the surrounding environment. By using the latest innovative techniques in sustainable design practices we make sure that our projects also have a minimum impact and often a beneficial relationship with the existing landscape. Andrew believes that sustainable practices create the most beneficial and beautiful landscapes. He is proud to be a Qualified Bay Friendly Landscape Design Professional (QBFLDP). Andrew works personally with every client through every stage of the job, from the initial consultation, the design process, the selection of materials and finally the installation of their beautiful new landscape! He welcomes clients with budgets and projects of all sizes.
